The following tariff indicates the fixed hourly fees we charge for almost all business IT services. If you're new to South Coast Support, we are happy to visit your business free of charge to assess your needs and become acquainted.

Hard Drive Data Recovery - Free collection, free examination

If you suffer hard drive damage or data loss due to a fire, flood, accident or worn parts, we can extract and collect your drive free of charge, and provide you with our examination results detailing the data we are likely to recover. It is our policy to charge only if we can recover the required contents of your drive to a replacement hard drive, DVD, or any other media you provide. We can provide these, but will charge extra accordingly. Many data recovery companies will make an assessment of your data, and charge you according to its worth, which in some cases can amount to thousands of pounds.

If your business operates outside our coverage area, we are happy to accept drives shipped by courier, and can return these for no extra charge. This service is only available as a 5 working day turnaround from receipt of drive to arrival at your office.

If you have numerous failed drives, we may be able to offer you a discounted service. Please call us for more information.

Installation
We install everything that's IT related! Structured cabling with voice and data capability, voice and data hardware, data cabinets, physical and virtualised servers, EPOS terminals, workstation computers, printers, and much more. Our experience in IT allows us to undertake the smallest of jobs completed in under an hour, to network installations for hundreds of users. With our links to service providers and other trades, we are able to take care of entire projects from the ground up to turn-key operation.

South Coast Support is a reseller of information technology products, supplying a comprehensive range of computer equipment and software.

Project management
Sometimes, IT installations whether as part of a new install in your current premises or a business move, can be very stressful, especially when you are not familiar with the technology and terminology. We offer project management, and deal with every step from placement of orders with service providers and equipment suppliers, arrangement of contractors, configuration of systems and services and any after care issues that may arise. Due to our relationships with contractors and service providers, and our intricate knowledge of IT standards, we can often save a considerable amount of time and money for your business.

Maintenance
When hardware fails the priority is to get your critical systems and users operational again as quickly as possible. Achieving this means having the right skills, in the right place at the right time - which can be a real challenge, particularly if you have a distributed IT estate or limited in-house resources. This is where we come in. We maintain and repair PC and Mac workstations, laptops, servers, EPOS terminals, printers, network hardware and structured cabling.

Upgrades
We can professionally advise what part needs upgrading to get the most from your workstation, server or network, source any parts and normally upgrade it on-site.

Software Support
We have extensive experience in all major operating systems and applications to provide you with superb support. We can solve existing problems, remove spyware and viruses, advise on how best to protect your computer and install tried and tested computer security software. Since we are fully independent, we will not try and sell you anything. In the majority of cases we advise customers to use free security software.

Tuition
From one to one tuition to classroom sessions, we cover all major software including Sage products, Microsoft and Apple operating systems and productivity suites.
